Q: Why can I only use certain key combinations? e.g. Why won't F3 + F4 + Strum (Enter) work together?
A: Keyboards always have certain key combinations that cannot be pressed together. This saves on manufacturing costs as it is very rare that those combos would need to be used (aside from in FoF obviously).
Only way around this is to remap your keys. Usually using 1-5 rather than the F keys works. That, or try switching which key is used to strum.
Rule #6: No asking questions that are on the boards FAQ!
Violation of this rule results in a raise in warning level.

Mike.
He wasn't asking a question that's answered in the FAQ. This is a genuine problem, as I'm having it as well. No matter how I remap the keys to my Saitek keyboard, I can never press string 4 and 5 and any other one at the same time. It can do any other combination (even 4 and 5 alone), but that's it.
I.E. Good:
4+5
3+4
3+5
Bad:
3+4+5
2+4+5
1+4+5

If I say that I refuse to believe that water is wet, does that make it any less true? The fact remains that to spite various key remappings, it doesn't work. This isn't an issue of PEBKAC, methinks.
