actually, i thought the kids went "ewww, disgusting" or something like that... it's funny nonetheless.

he says ewww just after the kiss, but he shouts dont do it just before, i think he is the last person to speak just before the kiss

Anyway, I think he was aware that MJ was there or at least that she could have been there... so it was totaly stupid anyway.

well, girls tend to see things differently than a guy. peter recognized that it didn't mean anything, MJ would have seen it as Gwen kissing her boyfriend and soon to be husband, kicking in jealousy. you can see that peter didn't mean anything by the kiss when he still went to propose to her at the restaurant. (and i'm sorry if i spoiled part of the movie for some people, but if you haven't seen it you probably shouldn't be in this thread.)

Just jumping in to say I saw it, thought it was just alright. Coming from a huge spiderman background definately pulled it down for me =\

well, i couldn't stand X3 because they went to far away from the comic book... so i know what you're feeling. however, i don't know the spidey comics as well, so i have no clue how well raimi stayed on the comics.

The thing that killed me about the movie was the symbiote spidey costume. That really bothered me. Seriously. He's supposed to be smooth and black and white, not web-patterned and gray scale.

??? um, venom himself was, but the spidey costume i think worked well because it was essentially covered/copied by venom. and besides, what do you think would have happened if spiderman had a costume that looked like you're wanting it to, and he started swinging around New York? they'd try and shoot him on sight! this way at least, they recognize him as spiderman with a different suit.

well, everyone is entitled to their opinion... however, i'd be willing to bet that if Raimi and Maguire and Dunst leave, you'd like the first three better than the last three...
