Ive had the playing fast thing as well, the background track played ok but the main track was 3x speed or something.
I fixed it by making a new song with the new version, added the background track from the old version as the main track for the new and skipping the background track. Then I copied the notes.mid from the old to the new and its was fixed.
Its a bit quieter because thats what I did to the original background, but at least I can play it again.
We need to find out what sample rate it needs.
Hopefully this is something the developers have on their to-do list
I am also having problems with the folders.
Ive got one level of folders to work ok, but I cant get a folder within a folder to work if you see what I mean.
Any ideas?

We are going to release a new version after we have fixed few things. That bug with tapping is quite annoying so hopefully very soon. Let's see
I see other main bugs
1. preview sound don't always stop when enter/quitting a folder to a song or another folder
2. game crashes when preview is "loading" and an action is taken
3. big negative delay bug that rogue fixed in his mod is back on earth

hah, great news. but the problem is... well u c if this "new version" doesnt dominate RF mod 3 then no1 will use it. also it seems like RF mod is gonna be back 1 version for each of his RF mods... 3.0 will be for the old one. then 4.0 will be for this one(the new version wil probably come out by then...) then the chain continues... lets just hope RF makes RF mod 4 for the latest version instead of this one.
tapping in the current version of FoF was just a huge mistake
also i got some other stuff we could be using.
1) pluck during tappings (i think thats what u meant but i wasnt sure)
2) fix the c++ crashes
3) fix the update thingy (so i can stop hearing all this corrupted update crap)
4) dont continue song preveiws when exiting that folder
5) option to turn the lights to
a) flash with beat
b) flash with note
c) dont flash (some people are reporting side effects of headaches and epilepsy)
6) random song option (include every single song including ones in folders in this random song thing so its not just a random folder and song thing)
7) loosen up the "hit note timing" so HOPOs are easier to do (NOT so its like guitar hero... thats not the reason)

9) whatever good ideas are out there, i cant think of any more

option for HDR: high dynamic range lighting (i think thats what i stands for. lol idono what this will turn out like. if u dont know what im talking bout, some high end games have it like "counterstrike source" where the lights get really bright) with the lights
