ok finally done here it is

the background image will only work on version 1.1.324 due to not being able to turn the animated flames to static.
so make sure you set the flames static in the video options.

notice the font in the pictures change, the main font used is the one on the first pic.

made changes to
--------------------
-key.dae
-flame1
-default.ogg
-cassette.svg
-font
-neck
-pose
-editor
-keyboard

install it just like any other mod
set the font to 80%

made some changes to the main screen,
decided to keep the main frets on fire logo

Brilliant! Not only does it look great, it runs great too, no lag at all and normally I lag a lot! Thanks Here's a brief rundown for people:

Sounds:
New menu music is nice, not too loud and kinda builds up, no more suddenly realising your speakers are too loud after its too late!

Font:
Very nice, big improvement!

Graphics:
Menu background is a little cheesy in my opinion, but the stage looks great and the fret is nice too, easy on the eye (and the processor!)

Models:
I wasn't a fan at first because the colours are hard to differentiate, but now I'm liking them a lot more.

Playability:
Don't ask me how but I beat my top score on Jessica by a long way using this mod - coincidence maybe? Or perhaps its the lack of lag I like how the multipliers no longer get in the way

Man you'll have to read more and search around a bit in frets on fire and on the forum. Those are all written everywhere

Konador yeah thats what I was shooting for something that looks nice and plays even better.

nice to see my mod is helping people beat their high scores

for shadow638 just delete the key.dae from the GHII folder it should default to the original keys.
for the font just go to settings, video setting and text scale its not very hard to find.

that option was only with RF-mod i believe, maybe you reinstalled the older FoF version and forgot to get RF-mod?
