Because of the new version of FOF being out I thought I would post some info regarding RF-mod.
The biggest and most important thing is:
RF-mod-2.0 will ONLY work with the previous release of FoF (1.1.324)
RF-mod-3.0 (unreleased right now) will also ONLY work with the previous release of FOF (1.1.324)
RF-mod-4.0 (unreleased right now) will be a port of RF-mod-3.0 to the new version of FOF (1.2.438)
Again remember RF-mod-2.0 will NOT work with the new version.

These are the current bugs as I see them in the new version of FoF HOPO
1) You should not have HOPO chord notes
2) The timing they are using between notes is based upon the LENGTH of the note (the end of a long held note). It should start from the beginning
3) There's no pick 'safety' If you want to pick all the notes and not HOPO them you may accidentally HOPO one, and then your pick will cause a miss.
4) there is no way to turn of HOPO. A lot of the custom songs are not designed with this in mind and the HOPO is ugly.
They did fix the 'just tap any hopo note without strumming it first'. They also fixed the 'look' of the HOPO from earlier SVN versions.
I think #3 is the most significant. As it causes a decent player to fail miserably when the HOPO mechanics are turned on.
These all work in 3.0 for the previous version and I believe I can fix them for 4.0

it's obvious he's amazing since the devs put some of his patches into the new version and i'm anxiously waiting for RF mod 4 so i can play the new FoF version without the crappy glitches.
