when ever i go to play game this comes up..

Chooser A New Songs Directory.

Sorry if this has been double posted but i tried searching couldn't find anything so here i am asking for some help

You need to point to a songs directory.

It is step 5 in the readme


5) Navigate to the 'songs' directory and select 'Accept Folder'

Rouge, i have no clue on how to install this. Its downloaded,unziped, and inside of a folder on my desktop. Any help?

Sometimes mod will come with a file named 'readme' as the name indicates, you should 'read' this kind of file:
1) Extract the zip file into a folder
2) Do NOT move your song directory!
3) Double click the FretsOnFire.exe DO NOT MAKE A SHORTCUT
4) When you select play it will ask to locate your song directory.
5) Navigate to the 'songs' directory and select 'Accept Folder'
6) Select play again and voila

I read it...I just dont get it. Plus i have to get 1.2.451...which still no clue how.

It's a RF-mod christmas!

New version is available 4.14


Both win32 and linux32 binaries. The linux32 binaries were tested on a pclinuxos machine and a ubuntu machine. Hopefully they work for you.

VERY IMPORTANT
You MUST change some of your options for things to work. HOPO on/off, HOPO marks, and HOPO style ini values have changed. They represent something different than they did before. Make sure you go into the settings and set them to the values you really want. Or you can delete the ini and start over.

The relevant info for download and features and fixes are in the information thread. Go there to get it.

One note about version 4.13. This was skipped because it went privately to a few people, and didn't really contain all the fixes I wanted. But when I started to add the new high score options and upload options it really warranted a new version. So there's no 4.13, we just went straight to 4.14

lol...haha i just got owned. Uhm ok hang on i gotta re download the RF mod now, but when its done, i unzip the folders?

Can anyone host the new version on a diferent place pls?

I'm having problems downloading it. The download keeps freezing. :(

Edit: I've got a friend to download it and send it to me. As 4 others friends couldn't help me due having the same issue, i uploaded it to rapidshare, so if anyone here has the same problem, get it there:
