This could be a very simple thing, or very complicated. In GH hero 1&2 they have the little amp picture with red, yellow, and green colors in it? Doing bad in the song makes an arrow slowly turn from yellow to red, until you fail, and doing good makes your arrow turn from yellow to green.

I think most people understand what I mean if they have played GH. I like this feature, and failing the song if you suck seems more realistic. To be really detailed and complicated, there could even be a crowd of people behind your view of gameplay, that react to the way you play. "Booing" if your doing bad, and cheering if you do good. Yeah, thats a little overdoing it, but I like the amp part the best. Especially if your playing with a friend, and they totally suck at the game, yet you have to listen to "EEK EECH EEEET" through the whole song cause they cant hit a note. It would be great if they could, well, lose. :)

That'd be cool, just make it optional, cause I like being able to play through a song I really suck at, cause I eventually DO get better.

True, but theres still the "restart" button. I guess it gives FoF more of an actual game feel than just something to pass time. Like pretty much the only challenge is trying to beat your last score. Hm..

The star system is sort of like GH's amp thingy, I consider anything under 5 stars as a failure ^^

But then again, you can't see it whilst playing the song.

Exactly, and you cant exactly fail unless you are creative yourself. (Which you are, for the star thing.)

I just think an option to turn on the amp would be cool.

Yeah, it's pretty lame though to use codes to never fail on GH, and this game is only a time-passer when bored and got nothing else to do, I say add the feature :)

Pass time? i feel like i never have enough time to play. personally, i play more for the music than anything else, if that makes any sense

I think this would be a great addition
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

I guess your right about the music part. But thats what made Guitar Hero so much fun. The whole re-enacting your favorite songs, and hoping you dont mess it up.

In FoF, you never actually "fail."

But..5 days left until Christmas..and 5 days until Guitar Hero..

This would be sweet, the crowd pleasing part is the main part of GH that I love over FoF, I may sometime after christmas fork out the money for either GH1 or 2

If this were added it would be harder to test if a user made song was synced properly(if its a hard song to beat), because you can just let it run to test sync.

Or maybe there could be a test mode as well

this would be an awesome feature. you could have it go down for a bad ratio of hit/miss, and go up for a good ratio. i think that the yellow should be maintained at something like 7 hits to 3 misses.
