Hi list,

I have just downloaded the FOF app for MacOSX and I wanted to install it on a Macbook Pro. However, I can't open/extract the .zip or .tar.gz files. I've also tried to unzip it under Windows with Winrar, but I get the same error message that the file is corrupt.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Much appreciated,

Eric

If your getting errors that the file is corrupt i reccomend redownloading it.

Possible Causes:
-The main Frets on Fire website (here) sometimes has bandwidth issues, therefore, when downloading, your browser may jump ahead and complete the file, when in actuallity it is not.

Possible Solutions:
- I recommend downloading the game from the sourceforge link on the site here

If it still doesnt work, post here again and i'll be happy to upload my uncorrupt version :D

:D Hey, actually cpuinfo, if it isn't too much to ask, could you upload your working version of the game for osx. I tried the sourceforge version and every version I could get my hands on, and none of them work for me. Thnx a lot.

The SourceForge link above is pretty old now. Try downloading the new version: http://sourceforge.net/project....=211274
Use the Search feature first to find answers to your questions. Chances are that they have been asked before!
