Porting either frets on fire to C++ or SoS to python would be cool...

If frets on fire was ported to C++ it would be a painful work to do, but as we can clearly see, it will be like 3 months working on it at python...

I guess 'working hard now' would pay off...
But since I'm a big noob even at C, I can't help it...

If this game can be improved, with the chat bugfix, better hammer on/picking system, we can even alternate between SoS and FoF for single player and multiplayer, like most games do (2 clients, e.g. Call of Duty)

off topic edit: playing with a guy testing it like me~

If so, my congratulations, you made my day!

Moved to off-topic. Other GH/FoF-like games are here too.

Just throwing ideas out there, but since porting FoF to C++ would take forever, why not port this to Python? Is it even feasible? The SoS code is even available to analyze.

I sense a merging of code in the future...

it really works on xp, ho/pos can't be held, you cant pick a ho/po, you cant hold a lower fret to play a higher one, there's no support for two key chord conversion.

this is the detailed description of gameplay :p

To play multiplayer... create a server/connect a server, choose a song, make sure your friend has the exact same folder(doesn't have to be in the same location, just the same folder name and files), then if the game doesn't auto start, you pick the song he chose, after that it's pure shredding xD.

Needs to be ported/upgraded but since it works over the internet, it ownz :D

BTW, there are people in the IRC channel right now trying to hook up with this.

That's the problem. Me and Crazy.neo have been trying but when other chooses a song, the other can't write anymore. Or choose a song.
