Nope, sorry. Unlike Ikonboard, HTML code is purposely filtered out of all posts, due to security reasons. Hell, I'm surprised that no one exploited that to do something malicious to the site, haha

Anyway yeah, HTML on forums is a bad idea. But [youtube][/youtube] I've seen done before.

There's mods to allow flash objects for phpbb3 I'm quite sure. (nwru I'm quite sure if that I think.)

I personally wouldn't want to see a Youtube video displayed in signatures no matter what they showed.
And they are taking a bit overhand in forums where you can embed them in normal posts.

You can't put html code here in your text. Putting tags in your posts or signature will just display the tags without processing them. Just try it:

There's no way to turn html 'on' in phpbb and it's a good thing. There is a [flash] bbcode but it is also turned off. It's not hard with Flash to create noisy and annoying topics/signatures so I believe it's a good thing if it remains "off". If you need to post some widgets made with flash, just request this specific feature (like here: viewtopic.php?p=338590#p338590 or like the [youtube] tag).
