good luck.
At my school, theres a fricken proxy detector and crap.
And they have each computer monitored by the "Net Center" or Big Brother as I say.
But seriously, if you find a site that they don't have blocked, and you go on it... seriously you will go a minute later and it will be blocked.
They can also CONTROL your computer.
I was in my Computer Aided Drafting class and randomly in the middle of working the mouse moved by itself, logged off, logged back on as Administrator, and staring messing with random crap on Control Pannel.
Then stopped.
Keep in mind, Big Brother's watching you.

no there was something screwed up with the settings i guess.
Then the mouse moved I'm like "WTMFFFFF?!"
my friend next to me said "yeah just let em do what they want."
Twilight Zone crap I tell ya...
But yeah it logged me off, logged on as Administrator, I watched it type the password in (but all dots =[)
Then it went to Control Pannel and something about Network Settings, and all this...
The school's server had crashed over the weekend when the power had gone out (from all those crazy winds in So Cal when the wildfires were burning)
So they must have had to change something.

I would have turned the power off on the computer. That'll cause a nice "wtf?" somewhere else, haha
tony_vendetta4, do a search on here for "proxy" and you'll see some previous discussions on this.

Maybe I only find it funny because I currently AM a netadmin. Not a school though. Only make their life tough if they deserve it (e.g. are douchebags). Most computer guys at schools don't get paid enough to deal with jerk kids =)

Try some from here: http://www.econsultant.com/proxylist/index.html. Not all work, but some do. I use http://www.proxyforall.com/ and it works really well.
