Gibson. Fender is better acoustic. But my favorite guitars would either be PRS or Ibanez.

i think PRS is the best, but id say gibson handsdown over fender.

It's not the guitar, it's the guitarist. Hendrix played a Strat, but he made it sound amazing, and I've heard tools just massacre songs on SGs. It's all about using the sound of the instrument to your advantage. I currently play an SG, but I want to pick up a Tele to play certain songs.

i like fender and epiphone basses and gibson guitars
For example gibson sg and les paul cherry sunburst standard
also for example fender precision bass (esp. Mike dirnt and 1951 )

Gibson all the way. Personally, I didnt make the mistake with going with a Strat for my first guitar. I actually went with a BC Rich Warlock. For only $30 dollars more it has a better sound and looks friggin awesome. But in this case... Gibson all the way.
