And the schools think they outsmarted us with their "hard to crack" passwords. It makes you laugh at them.

Then change the password.

Only works if you're logged in as a user with Local Admin privileges.

What is funny is that at my school if you log in under your own user name and password, they have so many (insert extremely foul word here) blocks on it, that it's not even funny. But if you log in under the "student" account, you can make any change you want. :D

Man, we have some GREAT IT guys at our school. They figure out everything we do. Like, we all had a shared desktop and we messed around, using a .txt as a chatroom, they took that away within the hour. We can't run a command prompt, access internet settings, or visit any .tk, so we can't figure out the ip. We used to have WebSense, but they realized it was a **** filter, so they replaced it, now we can't view the google cache, or translate pages (either of which gets you around websense, for text). One day we realized we could print to any printer in our district. The idea was to print from one classroom to another, but we could print to a school 10 miles away. Well, my friend printed a lolcat (http://icanhascheezburger.com/?s=printer) 100 times on a color printer. So, yeah. We can't do that anymore.
Why am I on this website? I'm clearly over the age limit of 14.

Read the screwing with the IT guy section in the book.

Forget trying to get around the blocks on their computer, and just use your computer. There's a free computer remote-control program called LogMeIn (logmein.com), that once you install it on your home computer, you can access that computer from ANY computer that has internet capabilities. Simply run the program before you leave for school, get on a computer at school, and go to logmein.com (this is the only part that they can block). If you've gotten this far, you're home free. It's kind of slow (my friend tried to run Doom; laggy as crap :D), but you can get to any website that you can on your com at home, sooo...

YOU DIDN'T HEAR THIS FROM ME >_>

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

Yeah, logmein is good, but you can't really play games or watch videos or anything over it. I just use it for checking on/adding torrents from afar XD
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

radiofairy. They have phpproxy set on, so even if it's blocked, you can google cache it and do the thing right from there.

I would've used a good ol' Pool's Closed. That'd get a ******** of people at two schools less than 4 miles away either direction WTFing.
