Jamming online - real jammin, no plastic `tars

So the other day I have anoter one of my so called "Mad projects".
Everybody knows Skype? In case you`re not, it`s a (short and easy description) web substitute for telephone, ICQ like but only with voice.
But... why limit yourself with your voice, when you can plug you real guitar/bass/drums instead. I`ve tested it yesterday - works great.
So, I propose to organize an online jam. We`ll define a time and number of participants and setlist and then try to do it.
May it be more rock band than Rock Band is.

Well, if we are to start someday, I think, songs from the first GH`s tiers I a place to start. They are pretty easy and hey, we`re on FOF board:)

I'd get Skype and join, but I cannae play chords for Rock Band's drumsticks (nevermind the rest of the game).

Maybe if we got together and wrote a tasty instrumental, now we're talkin'.

I don't think so. Never used skype, but I've heard some good things about it. I don't know a lot of GH songs on my guitar, so I don't know what I'm gonna do. What about teamspeak? I've used that before with my accoustical guitar, and it works really well. I think teamspeak would be a better option.

Anyways, I'll give you guys a list of songs I can play so far, but I only have an accoustic right now, but I can definitely rock on it.

Yup, My friends have jokingly tried to jam over Teamspeak once. It sounds awful.

@Clayman: It wouldn't work unless you taught yourself to play like...50-100ms out of time :p

Everything over the internet is delayed even is it is only 50-100ms. Internet isn't fast enough to be instant.
