i'm installing it now after burning it to DVD. (yes, i did see the non-burn solution that apparently doesn't work) but idk if it'll run after it finishes... i'll let you guys know what happens.

kdb424: if you can, i would highly recommend just burning it to a DVD.

I don't have any DVD's, and don't see me getting any soon. So I would rather just do this. Any more ideas?

Damn, I'll have to wait until somebody figures out how to modify the graphical files so that it might possibly go faster than approximately 10 frames per second.
Finished:

Dream Theater - Pull Me Under (Amazing guitar)

Indefinite Hiatus:
Hurt - Ten Ton Brick (Having syncing issues)

How I Did It
1.d/led Daemon 4.06 installed(remove other installs of daemon first if you got it)
2.d/led YASO 1.4,un .rar put YASO 1.4 .exe in folder that contains Daemon .exe, create shortcut to it on desktop
3.Install GH3,click create desktop shortcut
4.Mount GH3 .mds in Daemon, enable RMPS in emulation setting(right click on Daemon icon)Should turn from red to green
5.click on YASO shortcut you created,click cloak,minimize
6.click on GH3 shortcut
7.Enjoy if your comp allows you

thats it no need to burn to anything!

I have a centrino duo at 1.66gHz, 2gig of ram and a 512mb graphic adapter...and I see performance dropdowns when camera is looking at too much stuff, no matter if graphics options are set to high or low, or if crowd is on or off. It makes it hard to play sometimes...but it runs smooth when the cam is in a low-angle shot at only one character with the sky as background :)

So i have one of the older Gibson guitars that came bundled with Guitar hero 1 and 2. I have the adapter that turns a PS2 into a USB. Is there any way yet for me to play with my controller or do i have to stick with my keyboard?

you should be able to use Joy2Key (look it up for a tutorial), but you might simply be able to plug it in and configure it correctly.

i'm running a Dell 1520 laptop with a Geforce 8600m GT (check my xfire profile for my full computer specs) and it lags a bit on 1024 x 768 on high with crowd and everything on, but only when there's a lot on the screen. unfortunately, this lag will make it impossible to play a song so i'm trying it with the graphics turned down in about 2 minutes. will update after i test.

oh and btw: for those who don't pay attention to the screens in the opening (i didn't) backspace is the "start" button, you'll need that for name confirmation.

Isn't it YASU, and not YASO? The U stands for Utility. Not sure what it would mean if it were an O.

It's working fine and totally playable with my pretty old and crappy computer on low settings (800x600 resolution, no crowd).

I'm running a P4 2.43, Geforce 6800, 756 megs ram way way under the crazy minimum specs .

That's great to hear :) I hope it will run somehow smooth (I don't care about the effects) on my p4 2,8, geforce 7300gt and 1gb ram.
