1. Cut out all of your songs from the "Songs" folder
2. Delete Frets on Fire
3. Reinstall a fresh copy of FoF (and add your songs back in), then reinstall RFMod, just follow the fricken instructions next time, alright?

Any thoughts when the RF-mod 3.0 could be released?

I'm too anxious to wait. :)

And that's definetly a usability issue I have there even if it does indeed mean that I'm lazy.. :)

And if I'd keep all the songs I don't like it would be hard to find those I do like! :)

Hey, I've got an idea. After you put some new songs in the song folder, delete the ones you don't like then.

If you have trouble finding your favorites, make a "Favorites" folder.

98% of the Internet population has a Myspace. If you're part of the 2% that doesn't have one, copy and paste this into your sig.......NOW!

I agree with the facts that RF-Mod is great. It's the only real mod I saw here (even despite my incredible Raph's mod hahaha), RF-mod is, to me, the only one that is a mod more than a "theme". I love the scrolling score page, it's really hot.
Only thing, why try to design a drum that looks real?? It doesn't really look real beside the fact that there are shadows...make it a bit cartoonish.."drawed".. so it goes along well with your "silhouettes" of the public (I'm french speaking...). But I must admit the spot lights are really really interesting.

Those pictures are not RF-mod

Those are from the development version of Frets On Fire.

can you make an option like:
Menu bg = FFFFFF
Songs bg = 000000
playng = FFFF00

i mean...let the player choose the color of the different menus cuz a white menu is ok but a white playng bg really hurts the eyes...

I've read through some of the posts and I also seem to be getting the "string index out of range" error. I am positively sure that all my songs have a song.ini file. Is there anything else that might cause this problem? Btw I have like 200 songs and its sorta hard to organize

Nope, nothing else causes string index out of range other than a missing song.ini file.

Actually, if you set your sorting method to artist, and a song has no artist information in the song.ini, that can cause string index out of range, happens all the time for me.

Also if you have the .ini file set up wrong. Like for example for free bird; if you had title=free bird rather than name=free bird.

The game doesn't recognize the command and leaves the title blank, giving you a string index error.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.
