+++++Added Guitar This is with best photo quality of video and you can see 41 frames is almost 10mb. So you can see how quality suffers with lower photo quality and a longer loop. I will try to find more stuff like this if the demand is there. Other wise I'll just make what I think someone might like.
Good quality. I joined the BG's drummer with the guitarist, it cool result.
You could do BGS of different instruments of the same show? So the people download and joins the parts who want. But the problem would be even rename all images... then to facilitate you could already have the stages names in order, which has just 1 begins 2, where just 2 begins 3, and so on.

Video backgrounds per song, yes (and it's working decently in development code already, I might add). Ass for animated backgrounds as we currently know them... Not sure. There hardly seems much point if you can just use a video...
im going to try joining all 3 to see what i can get. you should make 1 for bass and singer also.
i know this would take some work, but could you do several different sets for each instrument, stage effects like flames and stuff so people can combine them and make 4 minute/longer animated bgs? i think that would be fun as hell
until then i think ill just combine these 3, the GH ROCK, ozzy, sting, and Zakk ones for now
I am wokring on ordering them so that they look like in a console game together...Its gonna make a long loading time but it will be worth it. Every time a view changes (say the camera view changes on ozzy 3/4 times) each different camera view of the person will be placed in deifferent parts of the animation. when im done i'll upload and see what you guys think

ok i tested it! Loads in about 30 seconds, maybe a little less. In the beginning there is a few little gltiches and you should put it on 4/5 foe delay. I have to uplaod 2 files for the whole ting tho cause its just over 100 Meg

The quality and smoothness is also a little rough, but it really adds a nice effect to the game
if somone put a bit more work into it it would be perfect
