linux fof (with rf-mod 4.12) won't play most songs

after ALOT of trouble, i finally got rf-mod 4.12 running on my ubuntu linux machine. the only trouble now is that the only song i can get it to play is "this week i've been mostly playing guitar." it hangs on "tuning guitar" for any other song (the other songs work fine on my non rf-mod 4.12 install). any ideas?
