I know enough from several courses in C++ that this is too big of a job for me =)

C++ is the best idea.....................even though its quite impossible.

If a program is written in C++ it can be put on Xbox.....


Yeah...there is no Xbox Guitar hero...and no Xbox guitar controller............but hey ..keyboards work on xbox.............and

My custom Guitar Controller Actuall works on Xbox...since i used an Xbox controller to make it.

But still.......its a dream...conversion of code is a beast of its own...........i really BIG beast

It really all depends. If Linux or OSX support was dropped, no. If it maintained compatability with the existing songs, yes. If it helped speed up performance, yes.

If things change, the final product must be no less than the current, only improving it. So, keep it cross platform and what not. Otherwise, you'll just end up pissing off the fanbase, because of what they like is now lost. Yeah, I can see not being compatible with existing mods, but, to remove the ability to do mods, would suck.
