Hmmm... everyone here is using RAR! I don't think everyone changes to zip because you want it!

Why don't you just type WinRaR in google, and download it for free?? Simple as that!

Besides you wrote in the wrong topic...

HEAR YE HEAR YE!

OUR LORD ALMIGHT LEFTOVER_CRACK HAS SPOKEN! FROM THIS DAY FORTH IF A RAR FILE IS FOUND AMONGST THE FORUM THE SUPPLIER OF SAID FILE SHALL BE EXECUTED AT NOON!

Leftover_Crack just get your computer and throw it out of the window they are obviously far to advanced for you.

The World doesn't revolve around you, I mean look there are like 104 pages of songs do you really expect anyone to change their .rar's to .zip, do you think they care if you can't get winrar working.

Not to mention this isn't a posted tune it's a request so it's offtopic.

WinRar is an unimaginabley simple tool to use. But seeing as you're all cool and you use a Mac, try Stuffit. I think that's what it's called.

Then stop your whinging.

No, we're not going to start using .zip files just because some people are too thick to use a simple archiving program. .Rar compresses better, making files smaller, and downloads faster.
Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.

hasn't this been discussed already? ah yeah...platform specific... leftover_crack, why didn't you try searching the web for rar and mac? there is many results for this kind of search...

-RAR for Mac OS X
-SimplyRAR
-macpar deluxe
-unrarX

i think thats enough to give you some hints, and i read you can extract .rar even with stuffit...remember this is a frets on fire forum, not a computer tech help support center

Whilst discussing archive tools, 7-Zip is freeware (unlike WinRAR). It won't let you create .rar files, but can decompress them just fine.
