Guitar Hero 2 as you might or might not know is coming to Xbox 360 on April 3. It is not going to be wireless because Microsoft doesn't want to give away there wireless protocol so it will be a wired guitar. since the 360 uses the usb ports for controllers will you be able to hook it straight up to your computer and play FOF with it??

GH2 is NOT out for 360 yet. It's supposed to have a "street date" of 4/3/07. The vids on youtube are from previews.

We cannot answer this question until the game actually comes out, but in theory; yes it will work. At the most, we will need special drivers for it, but I doubt that.

theres no reason why it shouldnt work, after al you can hook a 360 controller straight into a pc and use it, and the guitar is basically a controller in a guitar shaped box. Sooo it should be we cannot be 100% sure untill its been tested

Provided the XB360 Guitar controller is wired (which is still not 100% confirmed), all you would need to do is plug it in to a usb port and download Microsoft's drivers for the wired 360 controllers (for instance, I use my wired 360 controller as a PC gamepad, after I got the drivers off of Microsoft's webpage). If it is wireless, you would need to buy the Wireless 360 Reciever for PC that Microsoft recently released.

It is 100% confirmed that the xplorer controller is WIRED - check any review/preview. There has been no announcement about a wireless controller to date. The hold up on a wireless controller is that microsfot is very protective of it's wireless technology.

Just wanting to let you guys know, the game comes out TOMORROW, not today. We'll let you know if it works or not, we just kinda need the controller first.
