Control Problem - with a keyboard...

Is anyone else playing with a keyboard and finding they can't hold down F1 + F2 and strum? It works with every other combination except that one. Also, i can't seem to press more than a certain amount of keys at a time, this isn't a problem yes but i might become one in the higher difficulties. Is there a workaround or program that stop this/anything i can do?

yes this has been asked ALOT...i really want to exaggerate the ALOT part alot.
The problem is your keyboard, your keyboard won't 'accept' (couldn't find the right word) those certain combinations.
So either change your key configuration (eg to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and enter) or get a new keyboard if you really want to.

Q: Why can I only use certain key combinations? e.g. Why won't F3 + F4 + Strum (Enter) work together?
A: Keyboards always have certain key combinations that cannot be pressed together. This saves on manufacturing costs as it is very rare that those combos would need to be used (aside from in FoF obviously).
Only way around this is to remap your keys. Usually using 1-5 rather than the F keys works. That, or try switching which key is used to strum.

I have found that in most keyboards, the F keys don't work well. I have tried many different combinations, but /.,mn works really well with Ctrl and Shift (although, on some keyboards, Control doesn't pick up for some odd reason, so I use spacebar and Z-B (taping them together with a pencil).
Apple's iMac keyboards don't seem to work well on any decent combinations (I don't know why)
If you have $50, go to walmart and buy the Xbox 360 USB X-Plorer. Just plug it n and it works out of the box on the PC. It works really well with FoF, and I was so impressed with it, that I bought Guitar Hero III for PC just to play multiplayer with my friends.
