Maybe they just making the song with fretar...and they don't ripped them.. I haven't played an xbox exclusive song on FOF to say to you if it's a rip or a making with fretar..
But xbox livemarkeplace content goes directly to the 360 hardrive..How they can ripped them from there?.. ???
It's just impossible...
But wait..I Heard tha a periferal is out and you can connect the xbox 360 hard drive with your pc hard drive to get more space..Maybe with this way they are taking the donwnloade content.. But ripping from xbox 360 discs?
Im so confused ??? ???

That may be how they are getting them. At least with the PS3 version of Rock Band/GHIII, there is a Linux distro that can be installed on the PS3 HDD, so you may be able to use the file browser to see the songs. Just a guess.
It's such a fine line between stupid and genius.
Wow you are completely clueless yet you keep talking like you know what's going on. I've ripped songs from the 360 disc and the downloadable packs myself. It's not hard. No, you can't just stick a 360 dvd into a drive and rip the content, but those of us with modified firmware on our 360 drives can view the individual files and get the mids/oggs from the archive. As for the downloadable content, the files are just stored on the harddrive which is nothing more than a SATA laptop drive that you can hook up to your pc and, again, with the right tools grab the files.

Damn, so that explains why the gh3 songs are ridiculously hard and suck.

Well I think it doesn't depend on the songmaker if the song becomes hard...well a little bit, but If you do a song complete correctly it doesn't change much depending on the song maker, a little bit note placement here and there, but that's it! But if one makes notes the other one chords, wich means chords are usually harder, then it means someone has fretted it wrong!

Seriously, not only that. They forget some rules and got way too liberal with 3 note chords on hard. You can tell it was scorehero maniacs because they didnt transfer songs well between levels and just made all levels difficult except easy.
