is there any way ne1 thinks that we could input expert tracks and have a program spit out an easy, medium, and hard track back at us. if not anyone good at downgrading let me know: ive got a big job for you

Scorehero had something I believe:
I've seen it in another thread.

But it's not perfect, you'll need to go over it :p

That's a cool thought, I'd worry about variations in fretting styles, though. If you find the link from arfn24let us know how it works out.

"chart2mid" maybe?

Also I don't believe in a software that can take expert and make other difficulties. I made all difficulties for most of my songs. Each song is different in how you do it. Sometimes you need to listen to the audio to decide which notes to remove, as in which notes stand out more. Some notes are just moved up or down. Expert is the closest thing to being accurate to the real guitar as much as it is possible. One person will make hard, medium, easy different than another person would. There is no exact way to do it. You just have to follow some basic rules.

Well I tried the thing anyway, the Chart2Mid wouldn't convert the chart back to mid correctly. Infact, it wouldn't do it at all. It said it had an error converting.

Look for chart2mid2chart. maybe it is something different that can convert back and forth.
