MidiReader instance has no attribute 'sysex_event'

Postby rhersel » Tue Jun 12, 2018 4:45 pm

Hi
I'm new to FOF. For certain songs FOF says "MidiReader instance has no attribute 'sysex_event' " while loading the song. Afterwards FOF freezes. Any hint what causes this error.
Thanks, Ralf

Frets on Fire has a bug with MIDI files that have Sysex events. If you don't have the original chart or a notes_rbn.mid file, it won't immediately be able to work in Frets on Fire. It should work in Phase Shift. Or you could import it into EOF, make sure the "Save separate Rock Band files" import/export preference is enabled, save the project and then use the notes_rbn.mid file.
