Darker GHIII theme. - I didn't like the orig one.

Well, I didn't like the look of the GHIII and I thought it was shiny for me.

This is a simple color mod I did on gimp with most of the backgrounds. Mostly everything including Notes & Keys.

Was really easy to make, and I like this look Better.

Oh yeah, just Put this new data folder with the one you have, it should just combine the both. Remember to Turn on the Graphic Fixes. Make sure you backup the GHIII mod folder if you prefer that one.

Only thing I forgot to change is the Dots.

Also The only thing with color is the held notes -.-.

Yeah looks great but..... This is like the anti paper shredder mod... Playing that mod makes me feel happy and young... This one looks like it would make me depressed and introspective....

I'm still going to give it a download because one thing I noticed:
When I'm really pissed off or upset I am WAY better (I get about 5% higher percentage per song [well not dragonforce ttfatf]) at Guitar Hero/FoF and in times like those I will definately be playing with this mod.

The notes/keys are a little dark, it makes hard to differenciate. also I kinda have to study the rockmeter to see where I am at (duh, green) instead of a quick glance over.

Other than the Guitar/Gameplay screen, I actually really really really dig the color scheme for all the backgrounds. For some reason it just... works. And I didn't feel like slitting my wrists with depeche mode on in the background. This looks like it could be the set up for like Guitar Hero Encore: Rock the Metal.

Final analysis: The only thing I have to suggest would to be to find a middle ground for some of the gameplay elements, i.e. keys, notes and rockmeter. Somewhere between full color and what there is currently. Otherwise this mod is pretty sweet. I especially love the darkened stage with that neck (which I wouldn't care for normally) the whole thing works.

This mod really doesn't depict my mood. I like the darker color on everything, so if this happens to mean that Dark and Gloomy is my mood, I'm fine with it. I just made this because I liked how it looked in game.

If someone thinks it is nerdy, who cares? It's what they think, let them think it.

I wasn't trying to say your depressed! Man I should stop making judgements off of screenshots, I just meant it seemed like a dark theme (yes pun intended). After playing it though, it just felt really metal. Like I should be playing slayer or something. It's rad man I actually really like it.
