But the site usually has a determined amount of slots for each country, and they're usually full. Not a big deal, when you can do something to go through this.
Usually, they say you can install the "Alexa Toolbar", which will allow you to download the megaupload files when you want. Cool deal, right? Not really, when it comes with a few adwares, as some people have reported.
But, you can misslead the Megaupload site to *think* you have the Alexa toolbar.
I've done it, and works really well. At least, for Internet Explorer, here in Brazil... but I believe it could work for everyone else.
It's done very simple, without any danger: it's a registry modification. Sure it sounds dangerous, but it's not - it just adds a single line, so don't worry about it.
Here's what the .reg file have:
Code: Select all
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]
"Alexa Toolbar"=""
If you feel "veteran" enough to create your own .reg file with that information, go on. If you can't do it, here's a link to download it:

Just double-click it, and add the information to the registry. Now, feel free to download what you want, without worrying about spywares of the toolbar...
