4. Installtion Help
How to Install:
BE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY.
1. Take the zip file "Frets On Fire" and extract it to whatever folder you want.
2. If you downloaded the songs, extract those 5 zip files and place them in data/songs. Put the songs from Guitar Hero 2 part 1 and 2 in one folder called Guitar Hero 2, and put the songs from Guitar Hero 3 part 1 and 2 in one folder called Guitar Hero 3.
3. Wonder how my previous 16 step instructions can suddenly be condensed into 4 steps.
4. Enjoy!!!

5. Other Help
How to Create a Shortcut:
This is only doable if you have a previous install of Frets On Fire. You don't have to do this, it just creats a shortcut on your desktop, and then gives it the Frets On Fire logo.
1. In your GHCM directory, right-click the executable. Hover your mouse over "Send To", then click "Desktop (Create Shortcut) in the pulldown menu.
2. Go to your desktop and right click the newly created icon. Select "Properties" from the pulldown menu. In the properties menu, select "Change Icon". Then click "Browse" and find your previous Frets On Fire Directory. Double click the Frets On Fire.exe, then click "OK". Then click "Apply", and then click "OK" again. You're done.
How to change out your mods/settings:
Go in the game and go to Game Settings, then Mod Settings, and pick whatever mods you want on. The only ones I suggest you change are Rock Band Notes and Keys vs. Guitar Hero Notes and Keys, and the Backgrounds.
How to Add a New Background:
1. Make the needed files. (See the Mod Discussion stickies to find out how to do this properly)
2. Take them and put them (properly) in one of the "New Background" folders in "GHCMv1.5\Frets On Fire\Data\Mods".
3. Rename the folder to whatever you want to name your background.
4. Follow the "How to change out your mods/settings" tutorial to find out how to enable your background in the game. If you don't see your mod on the list, add it in exactly like the others, except with the folder's name after "mod_".
