Hering mod - Song failing, open fret, more to come

My take on that is, that I fixed (not tested yet, but should do) it already, but not uploaded it yet.
And from next update on you see the highscores of the different parts in the song choosing menu.

Cant wait for this. The queue is a big one for me.

Would you prefer playing nonstop, going from one song to the next, and entering all the highscores at the end, or would you like to have it as it is right now, and enter highscores after each song?

I would like to have both, you could either make a tourney, where like... you put 9 songs in queue, 3x 3 songs, so, after the first one, the second player would go, then the third, and then, player one goes back and does the second song again...

now, other than that, there could be like a continuos mode, AND a concert mode...

for the continuous, you would play like 2 3 songs continuously and in the end of all of them, there would be their highscores, one after another

as for concert mode, one single highscore for playlist

for the last one, this could jam the scorecharts I guess... so, the two modes pointed above are great :p

I just tried 2 songs in queue, I added pressing F3, but then, when I pressed F4, it loaded... BUT when it loaded, it loaded UBER fast, and when the song was starting, the menu came up again o_O and all went messed up

I'd rather see the high scores entry come up after each song.
Becasue if you pick 5 songs... play through 2 of them, and then have to leave suddenly, at least you'll have your high scores entered for the 2 songs you completed.

I think I'll go with the hardest to code, but best to play way, and do both modes, like Dan1lo said suggested.

And Dan1lo that is a problem I will fix soon. Right now you can only queue up songs from one folder.

Ok seriously, capo is up to port first, and maybe Rogue will do some patches, so I will port later. Patience or 1.1.324 is the key.


The problem with this thread is, that its a vicious circle. In the first place it got long by 3 things: bug reports, ideas (good things) and noobs unable to read the readme. With it beeing longer, people would refuse to read all it and just ask. This results in an even longer thread, while the first 3 continue to happen. The even longer thread gives even less motivation to read all it, and more people would just ask instead of reading, and the thread grows and grows.

Not sure what you mean exactly by the 1st two options, but the 3rd one (queue fix) is great.
