And maybe you're thinking just because it's on the net, you can do whatever you want... The big diference between real life and virtual life is that you don't know who you're talking too in the virtual world, you can't even see his face, and that's why you need to be more polite and patiente. Nobody diserves to be flamed, noob or pro, real or virtual... Only, of course, he keeps asking for it, pacience runs out sooner or later, but it's better later than sooner...

I sort of agree with you, if you check all my replies in the Tech Support section, I usually respond with:
"Search function"
"Stickies"
"FAQ you!"
But, let's take MartyBoy16 as an example. He made about three threads when he could've put all of it in one (seeing as they have practically the same subject), then, he's just asking for a flaming.

I don't like flaming, but sometimes it's necessary... But everything could be solved with the deletion of the repeated threads... It's not that hard, just use the search function...

But instead of flaming and saying dirt words, just do like warhol; and then, report the repeated thread to an admin so he/she can delete it...
This way we will have a precise search function and the repeated topics will be gone...

I don't flame that often. And alot of the time when I do, I help them at the same time.
A few times I've yelled and insulted them, but also included the answer to their question in my post. Which is alot more forgiving than I could be. Or even should be most of the time.
Try looking at it like this:
This is how our forum operates. Different forums have different ways of doing things. Ours works for us, and other ways work for other people. Different strokes for different folks, yeah? What I'm saying is, this is the FoFFF, get used to the way we do things, because we're not changing for anyone.
Now I'm not trying to speak for the whole forum here, but I sure as hell aint changing the way I do things, and neither should anyone else. Yes, some people have shorter fuses than others, but don't try and change people just because you're easily offended.

I just got really impressed with the flaming around here, read again my first post if you don't remember...

If someone like the way i think and want to change, good; if not, nice!

It's refreshing to see somebody sign up here and try to help out the place. I just think that most current members are content with the forum as it is. I may be completely wrong here... thats the way it seems.
