Looks like no one can post any kind of question that isn't related to some kind of install/execute error without getting flamed or disrespected.
C'mon guys! Even in the Technical Support, i saw some members flaming others just because some question or solution.
If you didn't liked that post or don't want to answer to that, just close the window and go see other post, there's no point in saying "yo fukin' idiot! go search!" or "Go learn how to play"...

I even saw someone threatening other with physical violence, just because of some question...

People like doing new things, thats why FoF has MODS, but people gets confused too with soo many options and need help from those more experienced.

So, why not try to be just a little more polite? ^^

PS.: I don't know why, buut i'm pretty sure i'll be flamed for this topic.

Haha, I realized you tried to use your post script to prevent getting flamed.

lol, idiot.

it's true some people flames on useless posts or repetitively asked questions, but it's also true many others are helping

If you want to change this atmosphere, read and learn about the game and help others, if you do nothing, don't expect people to change just because you post about it
I'd be curious to see how many identical questions we can get in say...10 days in the tech support. and you will admit that many of those questions could be easily avoided by a 10-minutes search-and-read. After being a member for a while you will see why sometimes people feels like it's useless to post answers again and again...and again and again and again

@The_Drummer
Of course, agreed! ^^

@Jenuma and raph666
I agree with you, guys. But what i'm trying to say isn't to answer every repeated question, but at least saying "Read the rules", or "Use the search button" instead of "Read the rules/use the search button you f*cking idiot!".
I'm really against flaming in any circunstance. It's like saying "Go buy a f*cking watch" to the 10th guy who asked you the time in the street.

@Avenged_One
You just confirmed my "PS"...

When I registered for this forum, and started playing FoF, I noticed that some key combinations wouldn't work in game. Instead of making a topic about it, I read the FAQ and prevented all the flaming I would have gotten if I had made a topic. You can't convince me that this information isn't already out there. The noobs bring it upon themselves.

@Jenuma
So you never ran into a problem, searched the entire net for a solution and didn't find it. Asked someone and the solution was under your nose the entire time? How would you feel if the entire forum flammed you on your very first post just because your question was in another post around the forum?

I think the admins should really do a clean up on the forums and at the same time, expanding the FAQ. The pacience runs out when you read the 6th page of questions similiar to yours, all filled with flamming.. So you make a new topic in hope your answer come...

IMHO, a REAL forum should be like the one at a PSP site... Of course there's some flamming, but it's quickly supressed by the admins and other members, and the members answers even the repeated questions, after saying to read the sticky post, but without using words such as "f*ck"...

With this kind of attitude, you're just making the noobs future flammers...

It's not that hard... Just change some of the dirt and/or agressive words with "please, read the rules before posting". And then, report the repeated question to an admin so he/she can delete the thread.

The watch and time thing is a bad analogy. You have to pay for a watch. IMO if you flame the guy, he'll learn his lesson and stop being a noob. Otherwise, he deserves more flaming.

Ok, i have more analogies! :D

If you asked your teacher for the 5th time some question about something you can't understand, no matter how more he explained, and he said something like "Go buy some f*cking brain!", would you like it?

But think this topic is leading nowhere....

Metraton, you are mixing up real life and the internet to much, either go outside more or watch this video to see the difference.

Exactly. And as he's being paid to be patient, I'm sure he'd be an ******* in his spare time.

Such as on internet forums.

Its just like life. Quite interesting in parts, but no substitute for the real thing.
