I was gonna flame you but then you said one that DOESN'T affect the multiplyer. Good idea.
If you can read this then you've gone too far.

It will read the PART DRUMS in mid files, so you can play the drum track.

If the drum gets along with 3rd note, you won't be able to see/pick both. Do a logic check, if there are any notes in the place of 0th note (Wow, a 0th note), delete the 0th note.

Star power released on powerfully hard parts to help you survive by moving the rockmeter to more safe values? Finally an idea that makes sense.

Please, let's not use the word star power, ever. It's very corny. Let's use something else

The open string note graphic is a wip. As I mentioned, I still need someone to make me a model for it.

Thank you very much, it looks great
Edit: ah you might want to make it easier to fail because even when it's set to jurgan it's still extremely easy not to fail...

Could you make the 1.2.451 version compatible with raph's GH mod for 1.2.451?

Here's the Link to the download:

Here is my downport for 1.1.314 with all those other mods.
Also updated the 1.2.451, because I made a few changes.

Edit: when a mod reads this, could you please edit the link into the 1st post?
And when an admin reads this, please always allow post editing :)

Where? The only link you provided was the one for the older version?

Because I have not made another version?

Nvm, you just editted it in the link on the first post.

But, not compatible w/ raph's GH 1.2.451 yet. :(

If you play a song without quite big mistakes, you won't fail. Try missing a whole 20-note solo in a random song and not fail it. Even Jurgen sometimes has small misses at Jordan.

Instead of Star Power how about "The Power of Jurgen"? :D

I increased the difficulty a bit in this release.

Well the failing difficulty is something that needs to be balanced.
But good players will always be able to finish easy songs.

Have you tried finishing fury of the storm? :)

And well right now I have not planned on porting it yet again. The mod is still work in progress, sometime soon RF 4.0 will come out, and I don't feel there should be 100 versions of this mod ported to every single possible combination of mods fof FoF.

Sounds good :D

Everytime you activate it you hear the groaning from the tutorial after the first notes.
I shall change this mods aim into "giving Jurgen a bigger role in the game"

Hey I am using the downport mod, since thats my version and I have all of the mods listed in the readme installed. however I can get this mod to work if I DONT copy over the MAINMENU.PYO file.

If I copy that into my library.zip then the game wont start it gives me this error

Code: Select all

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "FretsOnFire.py", line 77, in ?
  File "MainMenu.pyo", line 153, in
  File "MainMenu.pyo", line 48, in
KeyError: 'staticcassette'

So if i leave the mainmenu.pyo file out and keep my current one, i can have easy difficulty, but no option to change the difficulty level or turn it off.. Any help?
