Bass drum counts as a hit without any key pressed.

Hi guys!

I’m very new to the game, so I might be asking the question that was already answered. In this case I’m sorry for your time. However, I was unable to find a solution using context search. Perhaps due to lack of experience in the game.

I’m not using any drum set yet. All of configuration is at defaults, apart from graphics. When I launch any song at any game mode (practice, quick play, etc.), bass drum counts without any key pressed. It gains me points, and looks like if I did press the key. However, I didn’t.

Is this normal? Is there a way to switch this off?

In FoFiX there is an auto-kick option when you create a new player. If the player's description has "footless" under the options list, auto-kick is enabled.

To remove auto-kick for a player, go to your FoFiX game folder -> data -> users -> players -> find the .ini of the player you want to edit. Change "auto_kick = 1" to "auto_kick = 0"
