Lengthy but Good Games for PS3/2

Before you start bashing this thread with BAW PS3 SUCKS BALLZ MAN be completely serious. I'm looking for some really good and lengthy stories in games for my PS3. I want either FPS or RPG type games. I beat Grand Theft Auto IV (+ Vice City Stories, San Andreas, etc) and thought it was pretty good story wise but when I beat it, it didn't seem long enough to me. I played Black Ops and hated it so don't suggest that. I've been looking into the Uncharted series, Red Dead Redemption, and some either Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas. Any games that are pretty decent would be ok with me. Pretty soon in the next month or so school is going to be over so I'm going to have a lot of time to play. One other one was Demon Souls. I heard it was nearly impossible. And I did look into inFAMOUS and Assasin's Creed, and I figure that they don't really appeal to me much. I've played a bunch of COD games too but they get really old after the first run through. I'm hoping for alternate endings like in GTA4 too but anythings good to me at this point.


Also, I' not afraid to dust off my old PS2 if anyone has any decent suggestions for that as well.

i think the longest game i have on my PS2 is Grandia 3 (and that game is 2 disc long). it's fun, really good story, and is rather difficult. Tho the difficulty scaling is a bit extreme. you'll go from a boss with 600hp that can inflict minimal damage, to a random encounter with a 15000 hp boss-like thing that can do like 3000 damage in a single shot

As for PS3 games, 3d dot game heroes is fun. It's like Legend of Zelda, cept 3d and more difficult :/

Ya I saw this on a nother forum and everyone said it was as long as hell. I'm really looking into Mass Effect 2 now.


Also, I do like open world games alot too but I know there are only a few games like this.

Just Cause 2 for open world. I don't know too many people who beat it because they were too busy dicking around with everything else.

This one's more borderlining on 'okay', but White Knight Chronicles. The sequel's out soon though, and *should* be bundled with an enhanced copy of first one if I remember right, so you might wanna hold off until then.

EDIT: For the record, the plot is kinda cliché, the voice acting is mediocre, but the big draws are the character skill trees and the Quests.
