OK, I've just done another test. It seems that the Classic verison of Bome's MIDI Translator isn't working but the Full Version works fine.

Thanks

I've tried with the free trials of Classic (1.6.1) and Pro (1.7.1) editions

Spoiler:and also with an -ehm- full pro edition 1.6.1 that I found on the net

and the result was the same:
While running PS the drums I assigned to F1, F2, etc. didn't respond, while the drum I assigned to the Left Windows key, was working, opening the start menu, even in fullscreen mode.
When you said Full edition did you mean the full (purchased) Pro edition?? And if so, was it the last one (1.7.1)??

Actually after hibbet's post I tried again and for some reason it worked

Gotta find a better solution though because the 20 mins limit is not convenient :tongue2:

honestly, playing songs at 200% is unreasonable because reaction time tends to not be there... i consider myself to be very good, but the reaction time for things is extremely hard @200% due to the lack of time you have to actually see what notes are coming... however, practice mode is AMAZING =] and tons of fun to play with

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

You said that rolling back to forceware v18x fixed some lag. Did you update it since then?

My rig runs PS smoothly and is fairly close to your specs (disregard my dual 1.8ghz cpu). Im running forceware v182.02

It did on the earlier releases, but I'm getting worse lag in the newer releases. I rolled back to the earliest drivers nvidia had when I started noticing the new lag, and it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem(I thought it did, but I always speak too soon).

OK, I'm thinking that maybe the Sustain FX have pushed your CPU over the edge. I'm likely to add an option to disable them back to the old version. But to be sure, can you play the gam in drum mode which has not sustains so you can see if it is related to that.

Thanks

I managed to play a really easy song in drum mode on my keyboard and I didn't notice any stutter.

OK, I guess teh Sustain FX is pushing you over the edge. I'll add an option to display basic tails.

Thanks

Kewl beans, hopefully it'll work out. Even if it doesn't I think slashfan requested that feature anyway, so at least someone will be happy.

Where do I need to look to find information regarding getting the pro guitars to work with this? I have the Wii Pro Guitar, not really sure what to do to set it up though.
