With estem and Tomato and aander posting stuff of theirs, I also feel brave enough to share the outputs of my inner musical genius.



My artist name is Esa Rikkaruoho, which would be roughly "[insert a common but stupid name here] Weed" in English.
The name of the album is Piha Täynnä Sieniä, which is also Finnish, and means A Yard Full of Mushrooms.
Some songs have name in Finnish and some in English. There are no lyrics, except in the song called "Paavalin kirje korinttilaisille", but they are heavily edited.
All the songs have been made using only Windows MIDI table and Audacity.
The genre is überpsychedelic-extraexperimental-antiambient-polka-noisecore-blackmetal-mathrock-prog-pop, so it probably won't be 100% clear after the first listen. Some songs can even be weird and some might sound like being not music at all.

Just remember that the finest art is always first misunderstood.
(And that this a 99% joke)

This really irks me, because you'll hit really good ideas (Beginning and 0:09 and 0:32 of Ihavenomilk) but instead of expanding on these ideas and making good music, you focus too much on the "weirdness" facade, which really just invalidates the album as a whole to be judged as real music.

You have some songwriting potential, put it to use.

This project is a complete joke, but I'm also doing/trying stuff that... is something quite awesome. At least I like it a lot.
It's basicly very, VERY dark symphonic-prog-metal, but I have like 50 gp-files around my computer, mostly stuff that took an evening to make and sounded cool, but a day after I realised that nah, the big picture wasn't that cool after all...
Usually it's a very progressive intro I make, but the verses and stuff like that also become too complex so it's not that catchy anymore...
But, someday I'm gonna finish them. Meanwhile, I'll keep doing all kinds of weird stuff, as a joke mostly. Sometimes I even come up with something good without it being my goal.
I already have an ultrabrutal gore-song and the blackest black-metal song ever, that I wish I can someday record vocals on and film an awesome music video for 'em.

TL;DR: Yes, I've already put my skills to good use, too.

But I was kinda joking all the time , except for the really twisted "Satan is My God and Hitler is My Jesus", where I really worked for the melodies, but the concept is a total joke.



I think I'll expand the song a bit and then upload it to youtube with this... a little controversial cover I already made. Someone seeing the album and hearing the name is gonna be like "Whoa, this must be some HC-stuff!" and then he's going to hear the song and... well, we'll see.
