I moved FoF to C:\, tried both of your newer strings again, and they still don't work.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.
So long, farewell.

maybe you could try to put the uploadScore.py in your frets on fire root directory? at least it works for me.

Did you put the path in "speech marks" jake? You need to if there's a space. You might not have seen my post as it was the last one on the previous page.

figured it out. I had to put C:\uploadScores.py "C:\Program Files\Fof" http://chart.gamingrecon.com/upload.php.
didn't realise I had to reference the uploadScores.py directory still :p
~Jake2k3
EDIT: It's working like a charm now, it's going through all my songs and uploading them perfectly.

Did that really work? I just remembered that you have to upload to http://chart.gamingrecon.com/tmpupload.php when using the script, but if it worked, nevermind...

Divra wrote:This will allow you to upload to up to three charts at the same time. I have tested it with rf-mod 3.5 and the last C-mod that doesn't change the board speed (I don't think it changes this file anyway).
I'm not sure what you mean by "the last c-mod that doesn't change the board speed" since I didn't release alternative versions with different board speeds (the only time I released alternative versions was for the blue flames, but that is deprecated now), but I did change that file to fix a bug that crashes the game if you use cheats, not really that important but I thought I should mention that. And btw, with the very last version of my mod you can choose to use the regular fof board speed in the options.
My mod (for fof version 1.2.451):
Latest release (5.23), there's a readme in there to install & stuff (source code included).

This is the next best mode after the RF Mod for me. It lags a bit but it's doing the job. Thanks a lot

I noticed that too shortyly after I said that. I was looking through the thread I found the walkthrough in earlier and saw your post. Apparently the mass-uploader looks as if it's working, but it never really uploads to your charts if you don't have that tmp bit in there.

Maybe, I'm wrong, the reason I didn't use the latest was because of the speed, using the latest one now

I don't know what changes you made to GameResultsScene, but here it is, with multiple uploading. Link I think the lag depends on how the forum charts are, I have tried different positions and it is always the slowest.

Yes, it lags because it is uploading and then its waiting for a response from the servers or something. I am uploading first to the fastest server and then to the slowest but the first two uploads seems to be fast and the last one is slowing down the whole thing.
Also, the program is freezing if I finish a song with a result lower than the top 5 :< Well, I am pressing the escape button after I finish a song and I can choose to send the scores or not depending on the score I get {:
It would be cool to have an option in the game to upload scores for each song without playing it.
Code: Select all
uploadurl2 = http://chart.gamingrecon.com/upload.php
uploadurl3 = http://charts.fretsonfire.net/fretsonfire/play
uploadurl = http://fretsonfire.sourceforge.net/play

I upload to Divra's and the fof.net charts - In that order - and don't see any lag.
I don't care much for the official charts.
