Cross-Platform Open-Source song.ini generator (pre-alpha)

Postby tjb0607 » Mon Oct 04, 2010 9:48 pm

I've been working on programming this for a while now, because the original Song.ini Generator uses Visual Basic, and does not work in Linux or Mac. This version is programmed in Python and PyQt, meaning it will work in Windows, Linux, and Mac. I'm still in the early stages of programming it, BUT, it has most of the simple stuff.

What works:

Song Title
Artist
Fretter
Album
Genre
Loading Text
year
delay
count
saving

What doesn't:

ScoreHero chart settings import
Open
Difficulty
Color
Lyrics
8th note HO/PO
Show/Hide advanced options

Thanks to Daniel Dara for the original concept and idea.

In Linux and Windows: (I don't have a mac to test this with)

This is my new song.ini maker.
I used to just take them from other songs and change things.
This makes it really easy to make a good song.ini

THANK YOU. :2thumbsup:

Wow count me in for the download! Looks really nice. It'll make organization much more easy for titles and difficulty.

Import from FeedBack chart" is better rather than ScoreHero, because that's more accurate, to me though. Good job by the way.
