Theme Making! Help Needed!
Ok. I am trying to make my own theme, but I can't really figure one thing out. Example: The rock meter. How do I move how I see it on the game (Image Positioning). If you help me, then you are a life saver

Re: Theme Making! Help Needed!
You can't move it, yet. However, you can change the type of rockmeter that it is and that will move it!
an example is:
rmtype = 3 (for Guitar Hero 3 rockmeter)
Hope that helps

Do you happen to know how to change the type? Plus, is there a type that puts the rock meter onto the frets board (like in Warriors of Rock)?

rmtype = 1,2 or 3 is the different types you can change it to.
In order for it to look like the Warriors of Rock, you would have to be running 4.0 and it is currently only available by compiling your own. You'll have to read up about how to do that!

Nope, (well there is, but the code won't be released for a long time.) and in case you are wondering, yes, someone is doing it.

Re: Theme Making! Help Needed!
lol, i think its better if you just choose one of the 3 positions and go from there, and when the new release come, then just do that, (easy ways rock)

Re: Theme Making! Help Needed!
Sigh, I think if you just want to make themes, its better for you to use the stable version. People should stop recommending them to use the dev. version(did anyone said 4.0?), as they're very unstable and you won't solve this problem easily. THERE IS NO FOFIX 4.
And you should just go for the 1st option(changing the rockmeter type), rather than doing something you don't even know. Start from the basics and move on to the advanced.

This may actually hinder development by coders who may be interested in helping.
Point people to relevant threads or don't reply at all.

When was the last time you checked it out? Did you report the bugs you found?

I really wish you guys would stop saying this. Have we been wasting hours and hours of our time on nothing? http://github.com/stump/fofix/commits/master

This kind of thing repeated over and over by everyone on here as an automatic response may seem helpful, but it's my opinion that it has contributed (slightly) to the downward trend for FoFiX.
I know the other guys don't like to be bothered by useless questions from newbs who can't read stickies/docs, or use a search engine, but personally, I don't mind it one bit.
Not everyone is born knowing this crap, and often times the information isn't readily available in their native tongue. Try to mold them into a good user first.
