This has been suggested and discussed about 6 billion times before, some of them in this thread.

Short answer: No.

Death_Chicken, if even, there should be the amount of stars you need to have to pass certain level. Rockmeter is useless, if you fail some kind of Jordan solo, which would be a failure after first three seconds.

A possibility to delete files while browsing though a folder - I've got over 1000 Songs, and at sorting, i have to play one song, exit FoF, delete or move the song from my "to sort" folder and have to restart FoF....

If it would be possible to delete the files inside the game, that would save much time.

Display lyrics.

As I posted here, it's quite easy to create lyrics files for the songs, using the tutorial flag and the script.txt.
But FoF ignores all tutorials but the one in the tutorial folder, and when I looked through the sources I saw that FoF handles tutorials quite different than normal songs, though the only real difference is that the script file is used (and tutorials are meant to have only one difficulty, which could be ignored as well).
I don't see why this is, it seems to be a circumstantial way not show the tutorial in the normal song list. Its effect is that you can't use script.txt in normal songs in standard FoF.

So if the game (respectively the mod) just would use the script.txt for -any- song that has such a file (maybe ignore the PictureEvents), it would be possible to display lyrics.

Okay, did that for myself now. Maybe a dirty hack, just changed the line

if self.song and self.song.info.tutorial:

to

if self.song:

in GuitarScene.py.

For those who don't want to compile it on their own, I made it an own mod for FoF 1.2.451 (Windows), see lyrics thread above.
Rogue_F, or everybody else, feel free to adopt my huge modification to your own mods.

I've got another idea. How 'bout the ability to upload to more than one high-score chart?

Surely it wouldn't be too hard.

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

The only thing that could make FoF perfect would be the ability to choose whether you want a note to be a HOPO or not. I really hope this will be in 4.0.

On the song selection screen, somewhere also have the song length as well as the name of the song and band name.

A timing fix because the one in the new version is really small.

Change the buttons to something else, something more complicated graphically wise not just dots with circles around them.

Plus each note, have it with the white at the bottom, and hopefully, make them gel like buttons, It'd look so better.

Plus an animated background for the main screen

Uh, you do realize you can find your own key.dae and note.dae files to replace the defaults? Or you can make your own with 3DsMax...

I agree. More specifically, a selection to just upload all of your scores at once without having to high-score each individual song.

My own suggestion; make an option in RF Mod Settings to set cassette.svg and the other menu pictures to static, animated, or disabled.
