Re: MP3 players
I personally own a Phillips GoGear Vibe MP3 player. Only 4GB, but it was cheap and works great.
I suggest an 80GB Zune. My friend has one and I envy him.
It's like a regular iPod, minus all the gayness presented by Apple.
The music, videos, games, and such are free. It's a good price for an awesome MP3 player.
Yeah.

Re: MP3 players
If you want something larger with Wifi then i would suggest this...

It's quite cool really. it only has 1GB internal but it has an SD slot and you can get a huge SD card for pretty cheap.

Re: MP3 players
As stated earlier, iPod Touch 3G only covers half, but over compensates when you Jailbreak it. Torrent downloads, emulators, solid wi-fi and pretty easy to use, but you won't get around iTunes, at least I don't think so: Apple disabled the ability to use it as a data device as well, or something along those lines.
Re: MP3 players
I can use it with Winamp.

There is a work around. Winamp support is a must. Also, I'm just about sold on the iPod Touch now.

Re: MP3 players
Shameless bump. I'm also looking for a new MP3. But since raptor had said that the Sansa Fuze was a great player. I'm buying one soon, along with a 16gb card. :D.

Ahaha. I shall! I also wished there was a cheap 32gb microSDHC card at the moment. I heard it's coming out soon, but gonna be wtf expensive.

Re: MP3 players
One of those people that thinks carrying their entire library is more worthwhile than select songs you want to hear on the go?

Sometimes I go on long ass trips, so just a few songs get boring after 5hrs+(I never fly anywhere BTW). Also some of us like to watch full length movies, not just listen to music(doesn't take up too much space when converted for MP3 use, but it can still have significantly bigger file sizes then just audio).
My mom has a 16GB Zune with 2,000+ songs and some videos and she still has a lot of space though, so you probably don't need that much space.

Re: MP3 players
I don't really see why all of you people say the iPod touch doesn't have radio. There are PLENTY of radio apps in the store that are free that can satisfy everyone's needs. Think before you all post. Thanks.
EDIT: Found this on Apple's Website:
Current Generation iPod touch, $170. Enjoy.

Re: MP3 players
Show me this radio app. By Radio, I mean FM radio, not internet radio. Doing some research, the iPhone/Touch has a FM reciever and transmitter built into the thing but it is disabled. Apple did the same thing with bluetooth support. For awhile, it had the hardware to transmit data via bluetooth but that hardware was left disabled until a firmware update that magically added support. Apparently in fall of last year, Apple announced they are making a FM radio app for the iPhone/Touch so radio support is on the way. Along with that, you'll be able to broadcast your music via the FM transmitter for use in your car.
Also, I want a 32 gb, not 8. Without expandable memory, 8 gb is WAY too small. My currently library is 6 gigs. 6 gigs + apps doesn't leave me alot of room.

Oh, FM? Yeah, they don't have that in the App store. It's all internet. You could always get this, though! 16GB Current Gen iPod nano, $149
