Postby eatmyshorts » Wed Jan 13, 2010 4:38 am

Go to graphic settings. Search the antialiasing option and put "NO"
You won't really notice a change about graphics quality. I have tested with a 8400GS and it worked.

thanks, but it didn't work. lol. It's still laggy as hell when i try to play a song, and it's impossible to play any notes. i put the fps to 30, and that didn't seem to help either. I guess it must be my pc, but its brand new, think it could be i just need a better video card?

Honestly, updating my video drivers have never increased performance in any game I play

I get the same performance using a driver thats 5 years old to using a latest driver

Anyway, post your specs please?

It's helped a lot of people updating their OS and ending up with drivers that don't support OpenGL properly. Windows 7 default drivers for example work great for DirectX (what most commercial games use), but when it comes to OpenGL they suck. Hard. Getting new drivers from the manufacturer (not through windows update) generally fixes this problem.

Just because it's never helped you doesn't mean it won't help the OP.

one way is to click the start button, right click on my computer and click properties, on the top left click device manager, and click the arrow for display adapters and it should say the video card

Thats your problem right there /\, because you don't have a dedicated graphics card. Just onboard Intel. You need to go and purchase a graphics card from ATI or Nvidia.

You can try using a less complex theme like the Megalight or Uberlight that come with FoFiX.
I would also try increasing the buffersize. That can directly effect stuttering issues. (If you do raise the buffer you may need to adjust the A/V delay.).

Return to “FoFiX”
