Seriously, don't post here if you don't even like to think about an Apple product. Just turn around, go out the door, buy some groceries, make a sandwich, and watch T.V.
Alright now, onto the computer! First of all, this thing is HUGE! I couldn't believe the brightness of it! I had to close my eyes and randomly tap the magic mouse until something happened. My Dad actually bought it for $1300 which is extremely low compared to $1600. Then he told me, "Oh yeah, we're not actually keeping it here at the house, I'm taking it to work because I don't want you kids putting all your crap on it. At this point, I sort of whimpered. But yeah, with the time I got to spend with it, I can tell you it was amazing. Anybody here buy one?

27? Wow. Can't imagine the resolution on something that big. My friend has something like a 19" and it's beautiful. Problem is, lots of games don't like big resolutions or non widescreen, so even if you had it for those kinds of things, you'd have to still do some extra troubleshooting.

The screen size is all that matters.

Exactly.
Seriously, what are the specs? I'm curious as to how much $1300 can get you with a Mac. *cough* overpriced gimmicky hardware *cough*
Re: 27" iMac *Don't Post Rants Here*
And? I could just buy a 27" monitor for my computer for about $200.
Also, what is the refresh rate/resolution of said monitor? Would be pretty pointless if it was only 1440x900.

Thats what i thought, what IS the big deal over a 27 inch screen? Mines not much shy of that...
Basic specs for the imac look awwright anyway, but theres a glaring lack of information about the technical side of things. Certainly is NOT worth 1600 dollars, i doubt its worth 1300 either. Just build your own.
EDIT: DO WANT MAGIC MOUSE

Still curious about refresh rate.
Also, big monitors are meh. I used my 32" TV as a screen when I first got it and meh'd. Was great for doom C:
