This.

Pantera would have also been nice too. But well I guess he did say it was a sincere choice or whatever, so hopefully the songs will fit in nicely even without maiden or machine head or pantera.

Literally the only song the game needed was Children Of The Grave because every other song on that list shamelessly rips it off

Lol, Iron Maiden?? Seriously??
The lack of their songs is the last thing that would ruin the game... Even though Dragonforce shouldn't be there either

When you're talking about a game based around the art style of metal album covers, you're pretty much specifically talking about Iron Maiden.

I wouldn't say the lack of maiden goes as far as RUINING the list, but it is strange, considering it is a metal-art-based game (though i'm sure there must be tons of maiden references there, at least). Dragonforce does suck but...i guess if it's used rightly in the game....AND if you cut around 5 minutes of solo (no kiddin here, song should be about 2 or 3 minutes long), you get a crappy power metal song, but that i guess would go much better with the game than 7-8 minutes of pointless solos. Let's be positive here

I know that :)

I did mean it though. When you think of metal (n metal albums) imagery you think, among many others:

-Judas Priest (y'know, the whole leather-n-bikes image)
-Black Sabbath (which gave place to satanic bands, not to mention their songs are descriptive)
-Iron Maiden (where to begin: eddie himself, number, powerslave, those guys are PACKED with great album art)

At least i do (again, AMONG OTHERS)

Iron Maiden was putting out crazy detailed absurd album art years and years before any other metal band did, I'm pretty sure they were pretty much the first band to popularize it although I'm sure they were influenced by the dark lyrics and some of the art from earlier metal music

For example, Judas Priest album art was in general pretty boring until Painkiller had a metal demon riding a motorcycle with sawblades for wheels. But Painkiller came out in 1990, over 15 years after the band had formed and 10 years after Iron Maiden put out their first album

And the covers of Black Sabbath albums have never really been their strongest point

<@away_xbox> ...snip....
<@away_xbox> Amak11 cut the Peenus wire. This has defused the timer on the TNT! Just try and get it off you without setting it off, ok?

old priest art is pretty good

IMO

some other NWOBHM bands were pretty good too, though some were real bland (saxon)

Spoiler:Image

Lack of Maiden sucks, but it's not like it'll ruin a game with songs like Machine Gun Freddy and We Are the Road Crew etc
