wow. could this movie been any more crap?

crying, crying, dancing, crying, then a little fighting.

i understand comics vs movies based on the comics, and how most the time they are totally different, but they totally messed up Eddie Brocks character and story, That 70's Venom. Blech. Did i mention, the crying? I forgot i was watching a movie, thought it was a soap opera for the first 2 hours.

Spiderman 2 was approaching unwatchable, this one i shouldn't have even sat all the way through, but my girl wanted to stay. Because it was a soap opera-esque portrayal of spiderman.

And yes, Invader Zim was cancelled in 2003.

we knew it was canceled, the debate was over how many episodes were actually produced vs how many were in the contract.

as did i. i thought it was the best one yet. and if Tobey and Kirsten leave, the series might be salvagable. if Raimi leaves, it's doomed. and on a related note, if Raimi ends up doing "The Hobbit", it'll probably be complete crap.

O god, why can't Peter Jackson do The Hobbit?

exactly my point! he did an awesome job with the LOTR, and also with King Kong. he should be doing the Hobbit.

Dont like the poll options.
I liked it... but....
they needed to edit out all of the MJ stuff.
Keep a little in there that you know peter wants to propose, but then cut out everything else until Harry threatens MJ.
then the rest you can keep in.

And THAT could be the reason that they 'have issues' for the length of the movie.

I know you need MJ in a Spiderman movie, but I hope they trim her part down in 4 when and if it gets made.

What I really did (and still do) not understand is why Spidey kissed Gwen Stacy in the first place...

well, that's fairly easy: he kissed her because a). it was good for his image. b). if the world knew he was taken, everyone would want to know who is girlfriend/wife was. if they found out (and that's likely considering the number of people) they would be able to make the next logical step that Peter Parker is Spiderman. that and he probably enjoyed it too... :p j/k

a) he already had a good image, there was no need for that. and I doubt it would have been THAT good for his image after all
b) if he hadn't made her kiss him (yes he did!), nobody would've ever missed that, let alone jump on the conclusion that he was taken and the rest of what you said (find out who his girlfriend was etc)

go watch the movie again. all he said was "Go ahead, lay one on me!" to which she responded "Really?!?" to which he responded "Sure!". all this was in response to the screaming crowd chanting "kiss him! kiss him!"

Hm I recall it that they started to shout just after she moved in for the kiss... but I'm not so very sure anymore.
