Yeah I ended up dumping the whole star fill-up radius thing, I just couldn't get it looking right, guess I forgot to get rid of those images. As for the killswitch tails I just completely forgot about those too =\ I'll work on those soon.

I have a bit of a to-do list I'm putting together for this theme (better character screen, drum specific notes, co-op screens etc.)I'll add your suggestions to the list and see if I can fix some of that stuff.

I have some criticism too. Hitflames are getting beyond the fretboard, they kinda go under it. Also, when you hit a note, you don't have a felling that you did it, i guess it's because of the fretbuttons not going up. Also, you're lack of lobby images, and some other minor things. But the sounds are AWESOME! I just love the overdrive sound!

Hmm, not sure what you mean about the hitflames. Do you mean they just go past the bottom of the fret board? Or are they actually going underneath it? I know if you use Jurgen on this theme and he hits a note, the hitflames look like their clipping through the board.

Good point about hitting the notes too, maybe I'll save that for an actual 3d fretboard.

Weird, not sure what that is if you aren't using Jurgen, or maybe assist. They look alright on my end

edit: ahh nevermind. Yeah the hitflames have three little stars in them. The bottom two are going past the board, makes it look like their clipping through when thy really aren't. I'll add that to the list, it is kind of confusing.

I like how I didn't have to put the animated stage into the stages folder. It was right there when I played the theme. Just set the delay to 0. It looks coolest!

Another thing I noticed is that your Notes don't get warped when they go past the fretboard! I like it!

Very nice theme!

A few points aside from what death_au mentioned:

Neck is glitchy after several repeats... could be a fofix bug though.
Hitflames could use a little work. The angle seems wrong, and the edges should be crisper IMO.

Overall very nice work though. Great job!

Nice theme, but the hitflames and hitglows are pretty bad.

Hmm, I do like those hitflames, very nice. I like how they go off in-game. I like that hit anim, love the fade in and out.

I'm going to add a to-do list to the first post in a minute. I'll work on this as much as I can in the next few weeks but I've got a pretty busy schedule coming up. Any other suggestions? Would love to hear them.

The stage is too dark. I wonder if you can make the animated stage like in the loading background. Blue and Stars.
