yes we have. It was because of the new FoF version. I was somehow coded that if you got 100% there would be 6 stars, not 5 green stars.

Each one stands for a place value in base ten, and when you convert you just move the decimal accordingly thus 1 meter is also

.001 km
.01 hm
.1 Dm

10 dm
100 cm
1000 mm

I'm using the new version and have yet to see 6 stars OR green stars (The latter might be because I use the Chilly-Theme, which makes all the stars a bit green-ish), but I got 100% quite a few times, some of them without failing to hit a single note.

About the metric system: I'm german so I might be a bit biased, but I like it due to its simplistic nature.

actually, isn't the "deci-" abbreviation dm (using meters as an example) and the "deca-" abbreviation Dm? i thought deca had the capital letter...

You are right. I never saw the deca- prefix being used, though. The most common ones are milli, centi-, kilo-, and sometimes decimeter.
