EOF 1.71 (Updated 11/29/2010)

When making a new song from scratch, I choose Use Existing folder, and I give the MP3, then it converts...
then asks me to find the ogg it just made...

That's a bug. I noticed when I started a new project from an MP3 file. It did this when I used the option to create the project folder as well. Should be an easy fix.

i didn't think it was a bug i think it's actually a safeguard sa you don't get the wrong ogg file

It is a bug in that it is supposed to automatically know where the converted file is and load that. The dialog pops up as a fallback for when EOF could not load the file.

Quality release. Really great. You sorted the MIDI import too I see, which is very good news for me (I may start drum fretting now :ohmy: ). The only problem I have with this program now is the song.ini settings being overwritten. Unless that doesn't happen any more, I haven't done a thorough test yet. Just wanted to say thanks. :smile:

raynebc, Settings such as the album and difficulties, as well as scores, are overwritten when you save a song in EOF that you imported the MIDI of. NewCreature had a solution, but I haven't had the time to see if its been implemented.

I'm wondering possibly in a future build, for the windows version, make it so you can close the program by clicking the "X" box in the corner. Also were you able to make any leway on the manual BPM calculator

Yes, I can do that. The reason it is being put off is because some of the dialogs are out of my control and those dialogs could not be interrupted by the close button. I'll have to write my own versions of those dialogs before I can make the close button work properly.
