Re: Guitar Hero III Theme 3.20 -=[For FoFiX 3.10+]=-

Postby kavastudios » Sun Mar 29, 2009 9:58 pm

When I use this theme, FoFix crases and close just after chosing the difficulty of the song
I run the last version of Fofix 3.1000 ( I've downloaded form google code page )
in ubuntu 8.10

the crash only happens with this theme, I have other themes and them work fine

When I run from terminal I got this errors when it crashes

woah. Weird looking errors there...
try and see if you can find the log file (fretsonfire.log) and post that so we can see. In linux, I belive it's in ~/.fretsonfire/

I found an mp3 that sounds more like GH3 when you fail a song.

Hmmmmm, replace the actual sound effect with booing with just booing? No thanks. I do have all the ripped booing tracks though, but i prefer to keep the one with the actual sound effect played as your loosing, you can't get more real then stuff from the game itself.

That's the real one? I didn't think it sounded like it, but I guess I've never really listened

Hi !
I don't know if i am alone having this problem. But on the loading screen the margin font is really bigger than on the screenshots you showed. So, some long phrases are over the screen. In the setlist (List/CD), the easy score stars are not visible at the bottom.
Thank you for your help !

Hi everybody, last week I (finally) bought GHIII for PS3... and I was astonished how Fofix is now similar to the real game... BTW I've also noticed something "wrong" with POV having being playing fof for more tha an year... so I did some screenshots and compared them and this is the result: neck is a bit wider in the bottom and notes and keys are a few bigger. As you can see the bottom layer is Fofix while the left one is real game. I know that you're all waiting for MFH completed work to take changes and that this isn't a priority, so as usual when someone has a few free time and will please take a look!

Looks like you're using a widescreen resolution for GH3. Everything for this theme was built in a 4:3 ratio, so if you play both in a 4:3 ratio it all lines up a lot better.

Hi there!

At first, and as always, thank you very much for all this amazing work.

And secondly, i have some problems with the mod that i'm sure is because a miss config but i don't know how to fix them (FoFiX 3.100 FINAL and this mod):

1.- My loading screens don't use the correct font, and look awful:

It should be:
Image

It is:

2.- When i got 5+ stars (a stars filled of colour) they filled in green instead a beautiful gold like the original:

Guitar Hero Original:

Again, thanks a lot por all your work, congratulations and sorry for my English.
