Rockband 2 mod wont work

ok. i downloaded and ran the mod kit from THIS (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=31459#p323927) thread. and i turned it on in game. but it wont work. the only thing i noticed thats different is that when i play the game, there is no background. just the original neck from the game. i think i did it right, can someone help me out?

1. Backup your songs folder as so you dont lose your songs.
2Make sure you have the latest version of Fofix
3. redownload the rock band 2 mod and put it in THEMES not mods.
4. put your songs in your new song folder.
5. shred till your hearts content.

now my only question is. how does the Fofix work. do i just play through FOF, or is this a seperate program

it's stand-alone, you can uninstall your old Fof if you want

u go to ur data folder where the themes and such are ..

and u create a new folder and name it "Songs" without the quotation marks!

thanks for all the help guys. but now when i try to play, it freezes on the Preparing screen. it says its still workin, but it aint. anyone got any idea hot to fix it?

actually, its not the mod that wont work. its fofix. but i have no idea why.

ok, for some reason. all i can play are the 2 training songs. nothing else. someone please help me out here!

umm well my question is why wont it show the rockband themes i put in the themes folder the songs that i put in the songs folder work just fine but i downloaded two rockband themes both different and i tried puttting them both in themes and mods (themes before mods) but nothing ever worked EVER lol is it FoFix? cause i have no clue what it is i used to play FoF and there was no FoFix? so can anyone help?
